Why has my credit card been refused?
Why has my credit card been refused?
Your card can be refused for the following reasons:
- The data that are required for the payment do not coincide with those of your card.
- A simple typographical error in one of the fields can cause the refusal of the transaction.
- You have not activated your security code: some credit cards, to protect you from online frauds, require an additional security code to be entered to confirm the payment. The code is provided by your bank.
- The limit of your card has been exceeded.
- Your card has expired.
Your bank can give you all the necessary information about your card. If you suppose that there are other problems, write to the customer service through the specific form.
